About the Client

• Our client offers reusable paper towels which are made from all-natural materials like cellulose and cotton. The reusable paper towels, which come in 2 sizes, are absolutely safe and eco-friendly. Plus, they are hand-designed, which makes them fun to use.
• The client wanted to get an eCommerce website designed and developed using Shopify.

Key Challenges

• The client had 3 products and various variants for each of the products, according to which pricing varies.
• To set the website apart from others in the same industry, it was important to go for a custom site design and not use generic templates.

1. We understood the client’s needs and based on our understanding, created a mockup (using Photoshop) for the website design.
2. Once the client finalized the design, Shopify website development was done with custom coding being used, wherever necessary.

   1. Pricing: We added proper pricing logic to ensure dynamic pricing based on which product variant was selected.
   2. Subscription: End users can subscribe to the products via the website and get an additional discount. This functionality was implemented via the Shopify Subscription App.
   3. Upselling: Upon checkout, end users see recommended products, which helps upselling.
   4. Search functionality: The website has smart search functionality, using which visitors can quickly find the product they are looking for.
   5. Payment integration: Multiple payment modes like ShopPay, PayPal, and GPay were integrated with the Shopify website.

   7. Review: The Shopify app Judge.me was used to showcase customer reviews and ratings on the website.
   8. Videos: The client had some videos which needed to be displayed on the website. We adjusted the videos’ aspect ratios and ensured that the videos were properly optimized, before being uploaded to the website.
   9. Email marketing: We integrated the website with Klaviyo – a third-party marketing platform – to set up email campaigns for the clients. The emails were designed in sync with the website to build a brand. Various email marketing flows – email subscription, cart abandonment, order, etc. – were created and successfully implemented.
4. Besides Shopify design and development, we offered SEO suggestions and support. This included:
   1. Blog optimization: We carried out detailed keyword research for the eCommerce website and offered suggestions around what keywords should be used in the blog. Recommendations were also shared for internal linking blog structure and formatting.
   2. Image optimization: Given the major importance of visuals in an eCommerce website, we offered image optimization suggestions to the client. This included suggestions about image placements, Alt tags, and more.
