Our client is a San Francisco, California-based market platform that provides solar energy solutions for commercial buildings.
Their AI-powered platform makes it quick and simple for commercial building owners to find solar project developers at the lowest price. The solar aggregator has pre-qualified solar installers, suppliers, and financial partners to speed up the purchase process.
The platform also supports installers and suppliers by offering them value-added software and services. And provide expert solar project teams for on-site oversight.
Key Challenges
For meeting their goals, the client needed a web application for reporting purposes. The key challenges that the company was facing included:
- Our client’s data was stored on multiple third-party databases. Their platform struggled to fetch the right data when requested by end-users. The data had to be easily accessible for authorized users.
- The company was dealing with confidential data that had to be kept safe and secure.
- One of their major asks was to build a seamless online marketplace that could help the commercial building owners find new solar energy solutions with fast, accurate designs and pricing and help solar panel installers acquire more customers.

The client’s basic requirement was a web application that could be used primarily for report generation.
