Explorist (now called Nomadr) is an AI-based mobile app that helps travelers find safe and exciting experiences based on their personal preferences for their next getaway in California.
While the app offers personalized recommendations only for Californian getaways, it does offer travel insights and inspiration for visitors looking to travel anywhere across the globe.
Key Asks
In our initial discussions with the core team at Explorist, we identified the following key asks:
- The app should offer travelers personalized recommendations and not generic suggestions.
- The user interface should be tasteful and inspire confidence in the travel recommendations offered by the app.
- There should be specific sections in the app that inform users about travel destinations across the globe and places to visit in those destinations.
