A leading USA-based construction company that allows its clients to register and manage multiple construction projects without hassles required an updated solution for their needs.

While the concept and ideation of the project from the client’s side was spot on, they were facing major issues in user onboarding and extending all the services as their application was originally built on outdated desktop technologies.

The main goal of the client’s association with SynergyTop was to facilitate the remodeling of their application. For meeting the client’s needs, we developed an entirely new architecture on SaaS, Web and Mobile (Android and iOS) platforms. Now the fully-functional solutions meet the modern needs of the users and help the company achieve their basic business goals with ease.

 The main set of challenges faced by our client included:

  • To extend the required services to their users, our client needed robust structural engineering to back their applications and web solutions.
  • To be able to generate reports and yield the required results, complex calculations had to be performed, which were not possible manually. Error-free and prompt calculations, given their complexity and volume, were becoming a bone in the neck for our clients.
  • Our clients needed an enterprise-grade solution, which required a solid database.
  • While extending services to end users, the company had to be vigilant about keeping the user data safe or else the company image would get tarnished.

Business Needs Synopsis

The task of managing construction projects from one single platform required high levels of speed and efficiency. The basic business goal was to offer a seamless experience to the user. For that, our team at SynergyTop ensured that needs were met by the solution that we deliver:

  • Native mobile applications were to be developed for iOS and Android users. Both the operating systems were targeted to ensure that a wider user base was covered.
  • Along with the native applications, the solution also had to be available on the cloud.
  • The solutions were all customer-facing, so there had to be a heavy emphasis on the user experience design.
  • The client required many features from the solution: the applications needed to be feature-loaded, allow contact adding & management, project addition, and provide several reports to the users.
  • The solutions had to have scope for third-party integrations, which are necessary for the success of the business.

SynergyTop’s Solution

Our developers came up with the following solutions to help effective construction project management through the apps and SaaS solutions:

  • To ensure that all types of users are targeted, a cross-platform application was developed. Our developers decided to build native apps for iOS and Android users by developing the application using React, React JS, and Node JS technologies.
  • The app allows users to get access to important information; Sales and Profit Reports, Bidding Reports, Lead Reports, Profit Projection, Resource Schedule, and more.
  • Third-party integrations with Auth0, Twilio, and Stripe were done to add enhanced functionality to the app.
  • The solutions developed by SynergyTop were customized to meet the project needs and have scope for future enhancements and upgrades. An agile approach was adopted for the same.
  • The Role & Permission Management module and Company subscription module were integrated into the solution. Now, the admin of the application can give backend access control to the managers so that the benefits of decentralization can be reaped.
  • The applications developed for the company come with an extensive reporting mechanisms.
