SynergyTop Developed a Smart Search-Enabled eCommerce Store For A Nutritional Product Brand

JumpInNutrition is a brand that offers a wide range of healthy and nutritional supplements. Specially aimed at health and wellness enthusiasts and gym goers, the brand wanted to establish a digital presence with a website. They also wanted the website to have an eStore from where their users can easily shop for nutrition essentials.

Client’s Goals

Our client’s main goals were:

• Create a solid digital presence.
• Have an eCommerce store from where their audience can shop for the products.
• Inculcate a smart product search and filter functionality.
• Optimize the site for search engines and performance and get analytics data.
• Have scope for up-selling and cross-selling.

The Challenge

Our client was facing the following challenges, for which they sought solutions from us:

• Confusion regarding the right technology/platform to use for setting up their eStore. 
• No clarity on how they could have a streamlined way for their audience to search for and filter the products

Tech stack

Based on a discussion with the client and with regard to their needs, Prestashop was selected as the platform of choice. MySQL server was the chosen server.

The solution

To help JumpInNutrition achieve its goals and overcome the existing challenges, we delivered the following solution:

• We designed and developed their eCommerce store on Prestashop
• Search, sort, and view functionality was added for the product catalog
• Products categories and sub-categories were properly segregated
• Custom search functionality was added which lets users sort the products as per brands and manufacturers
• Basic technical optimization, as well as analytics, was set-up
• Custom cross-sell and up-sell algorithms were implemented on the website.
